I'm nervous about injecting myself with a needle. How can I make this process easier?

We know that at first, the injection process can be intimidating and stressful. Many people haven't had experience injecting themselves prior to going through egg freezing or IVF for the first time. With each injection, the process gets easier. Enlisting help from a partner, family member, or friend can also make the injection process go smoother. We also offer one-on-one injection training from a nurse with over 20 years of experience.

When is Prima open?

We're open 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Our hours are 8:30am to 6:00pm Eastern Time Monday through Friday, and 10am to 5pm Eastern Time on Saturdays and Sundays. We offer same day or next day shipping Monday through Saturday.

Does Prima have all the medications I will need?

Yes, we carry all of the medications you will need for egg freezing, an IVF cycle, or egg donation.

How do I get my prescription sent to Prima?

Give your provider our pharmacy order, and we will take it from there!

How much will my medications cost?

The price of your medications depends on several factors- including the dosage, your insurance plan, and if you're eligible for any discounts from the manufacturer. We can work with you to navigate your insurance benefits. We also work with lending partners to offer financing starting at 0% interest to help clear the path to build your family.

Will my insurance cover my medications?

Some insurance plans and employer benefits may subsidize the cost of your fertility medication. At Prima, we can help you navigate your insurance benefits to find the most competitive price available.

Can I pay for my medications using my FSA/HSA card?

Yes, you can use your FSA/HSA fund to cover the costs of your medications.

How much does shipping cost?

We offer free shipping for qualifying orders.

How long does it take to deliver my prescription?

We offer same day delivery whenever possible, and next day delivery Monday through Saturday. We can send out prescriptions for next day delivery well into the afternoon. We'll provide you with tracking information so you can see the status of your medication delivery in real time.

Where does Prima ship prescriptions?

We're licensed to fill prescriptions in the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, DC, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Washington, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.

How will I know when my medications will be delivered?

We'll send share tracking information so that you can get real-time updates on your delivery.

How quickly will Prima fill my prescription?

Once we receive your prescription from your doctor, we will reach out to you the same day to confirm when you want to fill your prescription.

Can my medications get any more affordable?

Some patients are eligible for discounts from the manufacturer, depending on their personal circumstances. We work with lending partners to offer competitive financing rates to our patients, starting at 0% interest. Call or text our team to learn more about what payment plans you can use.
